Instructor Highlight: Meet Amanda!

If you haven't taken a Boost class or Body Well session from Amanda, this is your sign to do so! She packs her workouts full of fun moves and makes sure you are using all of your muscles, even ones you didn't know you had. 😉

Who is in your family? Sean (husband), Paige (7.5 going into 2nd grade), Tate (5.5, going into Kindergarten), Wells (22 months)

How long have you been teaching with FIT4MOM DuPage Co? What classes do you teach? Since the Fall of 2017! I started teaching Stroller Barre, and then started teaching Body Back (now Body Well) a little over a year later. I took a break in 2021, and then came back on to sub some Boost classes, and am back on the schedule for Body Well and Boost!

What is your favorite FIT4MOM class and why? I love Boost classes. I love the energy, the way I can push myself for short cardio bursts and the overall feeling of completing a high intense workout. I also appreciate the short meditation at the end to acknowledge what my body can accomplish and to appreciate all of the hard work that we as mamas do day in and day out.

What can we expect from you as an instructor? Some corny jokes, encouragement, a good play list, and switching up basic exercises to make them feel fresh!

What do you love about FIT4MOM? Honestly, it is where I met my first mom friends. I love how it is a community where other women just "get it." I love that it provides different modifications and challenges to fit the needs of the clients. There is no judgement here, and that can be hard to find. I could go on, but I love that FIT4MOM exists and what it stands for.

What is your favorite thing to do with your family? My favorite thing to do with my family is go on bike rides, pizza + movie nights, have dance parties and be silly together!
