This month in our FIT4BABY Open House, I asked mamas to give me a word they wanted to manifest for 2025. Some of the words the mamas came up with were patience, balance, peace, and energy. Thinking of and manifesting a word is more sustainable than a physical act of a resolution, don’t you think?
Statistically, most people stop New Year’s Resolutions by the end of January or early February. Even simple ones can disappear. Personally this year I made a resolution to take my vitamins every day (We’ll see how long I last). I also decided to manifest a word. For me it’s “peace”. As days go on, lives get busier, I find myself getting progressively more overstimulated or stressed out. The stress stems from the actual act, like a full day of work, but also from things in my surroundings, like a messy house. I want to be more at peace with myself, in my stage of life. Will my work day be wonderful and concise every day? No. Will my two children behave like angels for me? Unlikely. Will my house be beautifully clean and organized all the time (or ever)? Absolutely not. The best I can do is accept what comes and make peace with my chaos. I will wake up each morning, tell myself to find peace with what is to come, and send that energy out into the world.
I challenge you to pick a word. It’s still the first month of the new year - start now! Pick a word you want to manifest this year. Tell yourself each morning. Share with a fellow mama in class. Bring that energy into your life. Manifest a good year.
