A Hopeful Spring

As I write this, I am sitting outside in early March. It is (gasp) 70 degrees out, the sun is shining, and if I didn’t know any better I would think this is a nice late May afternoon. This mild Winter leading into a hopeful Spring brings aspirations of rejuvenation. Even if Winter felt like 5 years or 5 minutes, there’s something about this specific change of season that gives life to people and nature alike. No one deserves moments of rejuvenation more than mothers. Think of Spring as the fresh time to start something new for yourself. Take daily walks to get in that sunshine and fresh air, try a new challenge (Body Well starts soon!), or make a refreshed commitment to try something new.

Of course FIT4MOM has lots to offer you to assist in these goals - programs, classes, Mom's Night Outs - but what we care about first and foremost, is YOU. Reach out to someone in the community and do something rejuvenating together. Share your favorite things with a fellow mama so you each try something new. Take a chance or re-investment in yourself - we know you’re worth it.
