Chelsea has been such a bright light in our mommy & me classes! We love having her and her sweet kiddos at class and playgroups!

Get to know Chelsea

Hometown: I grew up in Rock Falls, IL and live in Wheaton now.

Tell us who is in your family: My husband Rob, 4 year old son William and 5 month old daughter Mara.

Current/Previous Career: Current SAHM, taught Kindergarten and 1st for 11 years.

What was your childhood ambition? To be a ballerina and a teacher.

What does motherhood mean to you? Being a mom is truly my favorite thing to be. It's a FULL-time job with terrible pay and lots of sacrifice, but the benefits can't be beat.

What is the farthest you have been away from home? Cologne, Germany

How did you find FIT4MOM DuPage County? I worked out with FIT4MOM Chicago for ~2 years when I lived in the city, so I looked up the closest franchise as soon as we made the move to the suburbs.

How has FIT4MOM DuPage County changed your life? I've met so many new mom friends and been able to stay active while bringing my kids!

Favorite exercise: Squats and lunges

Proudest Moment: Seeing our son become (and continue to be) the sweetest and most loving big brother.

What is one thing you have learned so far from this year? Going from 1 to 2 kids is harder than 0 to 1.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us!: I stole my teacher's car in high school.
