Congrats to Alyssa, our January Mom of the Month!

Alyssa joined Our Village shortly after she moved to the area. She quickly made herself known at our stroller classes and then joined our Holiday Hustle session to see what our moms only classes have to offer! Alyssa is always up to chat about anything and is very passionate about making connections with other mamas!

Tell us who is in your family: Husband, daughter and dog

Current/Previous Career: Auditor and Compliance Officer for automotive industry

What was your childhood ambition? I wanted to be an Olympic swimmer.

What does motherhood mean to you? Doing my best to raise happy and healthy babies and surrounding myself with like minded mamas to create my village.

What is the farthest you have been away from home? Lived in Germany for a year

How did you find FIT4MOM DuPage County? ChatGPT search for “mom groups near me”.

How has FIT4MOM DuPage County changed your life? I was really struggling with finding time to workout and do something for myself and it wasn’t until I found FIT4MOM that I was able to find that balance!

Favorite exercise: Anything where we get to tickle the kiddos.

Proudest Moment: Getting to hold Brooklyn after giving birth.

What is one thing you have learned so far from this year? It’s okay if it doesn’t go according to plan, roll with it!
