Running Club FAQ

Do we just get together and run?

No and yes. There will be weekly "fun runs" that are less structured, but regular classes will include a review of how our post-baby bodies run, interval, tempo and cross training to help build your overall fitness base, and a truly custom training plan based on your goals and timeline. The session will be taught by a certified running coach, but you'll also have access to a private Facebook group for support from other moms as well.

How much does it cost, and what is the schedule?

It varies based on the sessions being offered at the time you join. Go here for more details.

Do I have to be training for a race to join?

The program works best for 5k, 10k and half marathon training, but you don't have to be training for a race to benefit from the club. Other goals (like building your mileage base, increasing speed, etc.) are just fine.

Do I have to be an experienced runner to join?

No, all levels are welcome. The training plan you'll get will be tailored to your level, and since the sessions will include interval and cross training work, you don't have to worry about getting "left in the dust" by faster runners. We'll all be there to help each other and meet our goals at the same time.

Do I have to be a current FIT4MOM client to join?

No! Running Club is open to all moms. It's a great option for those who can't come to weekday morning Stroller Strides and Stroller Barre classes because of work schedules, and also good for those that do already come to other classes but want a boost or help training for a race/running goal.
