I love Stroller Strides because of the great workout the instructors provide and the support I receive from other moms. Not only are the women in Stroller Strides encouraging in class, but they are fellow moms who understand the trials and triumphs of motherhood and are there to support you through it all!
I just wanted to say how AMAZING of an Instructor Maggie is! She had different workouts for us each week and I feel like our class bonded not only with her but with each other and she made it a safe place to share and ask questions either to her or to each other! Fit4Baby motivated me to workout on non Fit4Baby nights. I love that I got to know other soon to be mom's in the area that might attend stroller strides after my little guy is born!
My Body Back experience was life changing. I’ve lost almost 30 lbs following the Body Back program, but the weight loss was just one factor. Body Back taught me that it’s okay to NEED time away from your children and that the time you take to focus on you is still benefiting them. With 2 little ones it is very hard to find time to myself, but I have learned where to find those moments and they have made me a much better mom.
Stroller Strides is one of the best things I did after having a baby, not only did I bounce back to pre baby weight but I also met incredible woman who now i call my friends. The support is incredible. I am a first time mom and there are a lot of moms in the same boat as me. There are some moms who have been there before and are there to offer support when needed. I also convinced my sister in law to join and as our kids are 9 months apart and its been amazing! I feel like having kids and having this to do together has brought us so much closer.
I'm so proud to be part of an organization like Fit4Mom that supports and encourages moms. It's nice that I can get a workout in and not have to worry about finding a sitter, and also I hope my daughter Jordyn learns from my healthy lifestyle and choices. My daughter Jordyn has been going since she was about 6 weeks and I love to see her interact with the other kids, especially during playgroups. We also get together once a month for Moms Night Out no kids and its great to have a kids free night with amazing women!
Body Back allowed me to be successful because of the accountability I had to the other moms in the group. We were all motivation for each other. I wasn’t the only one struggling to do the 100’s class and somehow that made it easier. For the first time in my life I was actually excited to work out. Other people were going through exactly what I was going through. We all struggled the first few weeks with a change in diet, lifestyle and soreness from workouts but it didn’t matter because we were going through it together. You form a bond with the other moms in the class. I missed them the first week after we finished but walked away with 8 new friends.
I had a lot of success during my 8 weeks and I would not have done that on my own. The meal plan was an adjustment the first 2 weeks but after that it just became a part of my normal life. I do think that the meal plan accounts for a good portion of your success in the program and the food options are east to adapt to and the recipes are VERY good! I sing the praises of this class to anybody that will listen and hope that everybody that goes through it has as wonderful experience as I did!
